This book is co-authored by a versatile teacher like Dr. Namita Chatterjee who has vast experience of analytical teaching in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in well reputed college in Abohar, Punjab, who has an International presentation in her sleeve, on “Homoeopathic Management of cases of Breast Cancer in Females after Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy that was presented in Liga in Japan. She worked as Vice-Principal and has since retired.
Dr. Ajinkya Kavishwar a soft spoken Professor in Paediatrics in Panchasheel Homoeopathic Medical College, Khamgaon of Maharashtra and is a calculative and steady worker who shies away from any spotlight, is always a tall figure in classroom and in-house seminars also co-authored this book.
            Pre-publication revision of this work was done by an illustrious Professor of Vidyasagar University, Paschim Midnapur, a government of West Bengal University, India as Professor Dr. Shyamal Kumar Mandol, PhD of the Department of Advanced Mathematics and Oceanology, who critically assessed the book.
            Today’s world of science is dry with data and laboratory methods also absolutely devoid of any philosophical explanation. The authors firmly believe that science is of no use if the scientific findings are not subjected to philosophical scrutiny and critical analysis. Therefore, the philosophy was given the fore-ground in this work.
            Today the medical practice is derided of humane sensibility and needs a microscope to find a human physician. Biostatistics should not be simply dry mathematics. Hence, the live cases were presented with data.
In short and long, this work presents systematically the evolution of Biostatistics, different aspects of thoughts and tries to make it student friendly by not over burdening with data.
            As different subjects taught in Homoeopathic colleges can be put to statistical analysis and philosophical criticism. Every subject was given a due space. Of course more space was rightly given to Organon of Medicine, Homoeopathic Materia Medica, and also Homoeopathic Repertory.         
The authors worked on Homoeopathic approach to Philosophy and the science in it. The they go on describing different methods of tests essential for Statistical attestation in moderation. Limitation of statistical analysis was also discussed. Almost all theories were discussed in moderation. Each of these are enriched by examples from Homoeopathic case records. Thereafter, the authors proceed to detail about Homoeopathic Research Writing.
This is the first of its kind of book in this field. No such book has ever been published as no worker even thought of using statistical methods to establish homoeopathy before the scientific world of today.
With profound hope that such a work of these authors will be widely accepted and logically analysed and criticised, the book on “Biostatistics and Research Methodology in Homoeopathy” is being presented before the intelligentsia.
